The Full Story Richie Bevan
This is my story about how I became a blogger.
I come from the countryside about 25miles north of London in the UK.
I had a good upbringing in a nice neighborhood and grew up in a time when jobs were plentiful, so a lack of school qualifications didn’t hinder me.
I didn’t enjoy school, I found it restrictive and boring, it seemed to learning things for the sake of learning.
On leaving school, I went to college for a month, but decided it didn’t suit me either.
A few days after leaving college I secured a job, as a computer operator. I knew nothing about computers, but I enjoyed the sense of responsibility and doing something productive.
Work suited me much better than education and my career started to blossom. I was promoted to team leader, then head of department, then on to running the whole IT and Customer Service functions for a book publishing company.
During this time I met my first wife and had my first two children, twins, Myles and Chloe.
Having kids was great and it really made me reflect on what I wanted out of life, I knew it wasn’t being a corporate employee, dancing to the beat of someone else’s drum.
I knew I needed to seek something different.
Personal Development.
This is were I started to discover my passion for learning, particular in things that specifically interested me like Personal Development, Coaching, Process Automation. I began working my way through course after course in my free time.
I stumbled across Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). NLP is the study of excellent communication–both with yourself, and with others. It was developed by modeling excellent communicators and therapists, who were getting amazing results with their clients.
I was hooked, I had suddenly found the power of my own unconscious mind and loved it. It wasn’t long before I left the corporate world and started a small consultancy offering transformation services to companies.
During this time I met and married my second wife, Lisa, and went on to have two more children Maizie and Harry.
Life was good, I have a lovely wife, four great kids, and a successful business. But I still didn’t have the flexibility I wanted with work. I was in a position where I had to take work whenever it was available, irrespective of the location, which could sometimes mean four or five hours of travel on top of a long work day.

Entrepreneurial Endeavours
I realized that to achieve the lifestyle I desired, I needed to explore new avenues for earning a living, so I started contracting to provide Change and Transformation services. At the same time, I started seeking other streams of income too. I tried many different methods for earning money, including all the usual ways like Multi Level Marketing, Drop shipping. Plus some less conventional routes like Stand Up Comedy.

On this journey of discovery, I made many mistakes and took many wrong turns, but the one thing I knew I really enjoyed was writing and creating content. I enjoyed the hours of solitude, totally focussed on a specific outcome. As part of this I started writing books and getting to grips with self-publishing, and the opportunities that it could bring.
I was fortunate enough to have authored two Amazon Best Selling self-help books, which fused two of my major passions of creating content and working with Personal Growth topics. Soon this led me to help other people create content, and I began publishing books for other people too.
During this period, I remained deeply committed to my studies in Personal Growth, Transformation, and Self-Mastery. I focused on self-improvement, continuously learning, adapting, and evolving throughout my journey.
It was through these experiences that I realised my desire to create a platform to support others on their Personal Growth journeys, which inspired me to launch this blog.
